WHY NOW, WHY US, WHY YOU
Why go to Burning Man?
Let’s be real... the world feels a little upside down.Burning Man gives us a break from the noise, thegrind, the expectations. Out there, in the middle ofnowhere, you get to remember what matters;connection, creativity, community, and care. There’sno money. No spectators. Just a whole city builtfrom scratch by people who show up and give whatthey’ve got. It’s dusty, weird, beautiful, and totallyalive.
Why go now?
Because the world could use a few more people whoremember how to build something beautifultogether. Because joy and play are resistance.Because when everything feels like it’s falling apart, ithelps to know you can still create meaning, magic, and community from the ground up. This isn’t aboutescaping, it’s about practicing what’s possible.Because the world could use a few more people who
How much will this cost me?
We keep it simple: you pay &camp for your Burning Man ticket and camp dues. That’s it. We’ve secured the lowest available tickets tier through the Steward Sale, so camping with us actually saves you money.
Camp dues cover shared infrastructure like meals, power, showers, and camp programming. They don’t include the art car, but we welcome donations to support Lil Piggy and the Unicorn Kreamery. Everything else (travel, gear, fun goodies, etc.) is up to you, and we’ll help you plan smart to keep total costs around $2,250 or less.
Here are our 2025 estimated costs:
Paid to &camp
Ticket: $725 (includes shipping & fees)
Camp Dues: ~$850
Your Discretionary Costs
Art Car Donation: $75 - $150

Our gifts to the Playa
We bring a mix of magic and grounding to the playa. Our art car, Lil Piggy and the Unicorn Kreamery, rolls day and night serving up cookies, ice cream, and queer joy wherever it goes. All our offerings live in the Chrysalis dome, a space for movement, bodywork, storytelling, intention-setting, dance parties, and late-night hangs. We run a bar for thirsty wanderers and create soft landings for dusty souls.Rooted in duality - sacred and silly, tender and wild, stillness and celebration – everything we offer is shared freely and held with care.
Why camp with &camp?
We’re a queer-led crew who care about how we show up for ourselves, for each other, and for theBurn. We like meaning and mischief. We build well, we take care of each other, and we make space for weirdness, ritual, laughter, and rest.Whether it’s your first Burn or your tenth, we’re here for real connection and shared purpose –not just surviving the week, but growing through it.
How do I get my ticket?
Once you submit your $250 deposit, we’ll reserve your spot and issue you a ticket. You’ll purchase your ticket directly from a camp member who bought it through the Steward Sale, so no need to worry about the main sale or lotteries. We’ll coordinate everything and make sure it’s all smooth and secure.
What’s expected of me before?
To ensure fair participation, smooth planning, and a strong camp vibe, all &Campers are expected to attend at least one of the following “work weekends” in Landers, CA. Accommodations are provided onsite. If you can’t make it to Landers, you’ll contribute by joining or leading a virtual committee and/or taking on extra shifts on Playa.

JUST THE FACTS MA’AM
What’s expected on Playa?
We want everyone to enjoy Burning Man, and that only works when we all contribute. All campers are expected to take on a few shifts supporting camp operations, Chrysalis/Camp programming, or Lil Piggy and the Unicorn Kreamery. We’ll organize sign-ups ahead of time to keep things fair and flexible. We also invite a small crew to join us for Build Week, arriving before the gates open to help set up camp.
How can learn more?
We’d love to connect! Come to a camp meeting, explore our site, or schedule a one-on-one intake meeting with a camp lead to get all your questions answered. Start by completing our intake form.
