Solving important problems, one mile at a time

I founded #TeamPwC in 2016 and it has since gone global. In addition to Partners and staff from all Lines of Service, #TeamPwC has included international colleagues, alumni, family, and clients. Unlike other teams, our participants are mostly allies. In 2020 I used live streams and virtual events to engage PwC in the “My 545 Challenge,” raising over $200K without an in-person ride. #TeamPwC hit the road together again in 2022, and as we prepare for AIDS/LifeCycle 2023, we will soon surpass $1.9 million in lifetime funds raised. PwC is now a Titanium Sponsor for the second year in a row.

Economic Stability is key social determinant of health and CDC studies shows that poor and urban areas of the US demonstrate a higher prevalence of HIV. It is critical that we take a holistic approach to addressing the underlying systemic injustices fueling new cases of HIV, therefore I recently secured a $25K Reimagine Grant from the PwC Foundation, Inc. to support the LA LGBT Center’s Youth Worker Training Program.
